Your First Visit
Find out what to expect during your first visit with us by reading through the steps below.
Upon Arrival
On the day of your first appointment, please arrive about 10 minutes early to fill out any necessary forms. If you prefer, you can fill out the New Patient Form ahead of time below. You'll wait for your appointment to begin in our reception area, where you'll find plenty to read, free wifi, and comfortable chairs.
Comprehensive Exam
Your first appointment will take about an hour. Before the cleaning and checkup begins, you and your dentist will discuss your medical history and oral health needs. Your dentist will then complete a thorough examination of your gums, teeth, bite and jaws, as well as a professional cleaning. The exam will include a series of dental x-rays and photos, and an oral cancer screening.
Treatment Plan
Based on your medical history and exam, your dentist will create a dental treatment plan for you, with hygiene and preventive care as the primary focus. During your appointment, please don't hesitate to ask your dentist or hygienist any questions you may have about your dental health and treatment options.
